What changed compared to Free

Advanced audio profiles

Quality/latency-oriented presets tailored to your setup, with a FLAC-over-HTTP output path intended to minimize unnecessary transcoding at the bridge level.

Metadata enhancements

Improved playback information surfacing (where applicable) to provide a better experience on the consuming player side.

Multiple streams / mount points

Publish multiple endpoints (e.g., “standard,” “high,” “compat”) so different clients can pick the best profile.

Premium is also about operations: better observability, safer updates, and a smoother “it just runs” experience on real-world Debian VMs.

Activation key

Premium users receive an installation key to unlock the Premium binary and access advanced features. The Premium binary will request this token at runtime to validate access.

Tip: if your cart/checkout ever behaves oddly, disable caching for cart/checkout/account pages at the reverse-proxy level. (E-commerce pages must not be cached.)

Disclaimer

The Premium pack optimizes the bridge for performance (quality/robustness/observability), but results still depend on your environment (network, VM sizing, disk I/O, playback clients, etc.). Latency and micro-interruptions may vary depending on load and I/O pressure.
